What it’s like working with the most famous athlete in the world.


Role: Client/Creative Director/Copywriter

Working and dealing with celebrities is part of the job. Still, one man stands above the rest. I’ve worked with Ronaldo, the biggest sports star in the world, three times now. It’s exciting and manic and always a whirlwind experience. Suffice to say, I’ve learned how to manage celebrity ego, tight deadlines and high pressure situations while still creating effective communications.

The pressure to deliver increases further when you add Ronaldo and the words Super Bowl together. Add language barriers, an ocean, fast approaching deadlines with shoots in the US and Europe and well, you’ve never seen anything like it. The work included TV, social and digital components.
